We’re living through a time of deep change. Many of the systems that have shaped our lives are breaking down, while something new is trying to come into being. For many, this creates a sense of standing between worlds - no longer at home in the old ways, but with the opportunity to imagine and co-create what comes next.
The Scintilla Centre exists for people living in that in-between. We’re a learning and wisdom community for those who know a more just, loving and regenerative world is possible, and who want to lead towards it with clarity, courage and skill.
Through courses, workshops and community gatherings, we support people to navigate this moment. We cultivate the capacities this time calls for: meeting uncertainty, working across difference and complexity, sensing what’s emerging, and leading in ways that don’t yet have clear maps.
The work here moves across three interconnected levels: the inner, the relational, and the systemic - because real transformation requires all three; shifts in our mindsets, somatics, beliefs; in how we connect and relate to each other and the natural world; and the stories and systems on which our world is built.

To address the crises we face, we must cultivate an approach that transforms both the external systems we live within and the internal landscapes that shape how we perceive and interact with the world.
We equip changemakers with the diverse range of skills needed for transformation, including complexity thinking, nonviolence, conflict reconciliation, vision and creativity, moral imagination and more.
Explore Big, Beautiful Ideas
We have answers - or at least starting points - to many of the challenges we face in the world. What we lack is the right questions to facilitate our best use of these answers.
We create opportunities for changemakers to ask better questions, and to explore big, beautiful, complex ideas, breaking down how they relate to you, your community and your work.
Cultivate Wisdom
The crises facing our world are spiritual and relational in origin, going to the heart of what it means to be human and how we relate to each other and the living world. Changemaking without wisdom or soul-work is missing half the puzzle.
We create spaces to reflect on your personal journey as a changemaker, to discern what is meaningfully yours to do in this time, and develop wisdom practices to navigate grief, uncertainty and despair.

Scintilla is more than just a place for skill-building. We foster a global community of like-minded changemakers to navigate the complexities of this world with wisdom, nuance and compassion.

Who’s a changemaker?
We subscribe to Joanna Macy’s definition of an activist - anyone who is active for a purpose bigger than personal gain.
Remaking the world will take all of us, regardless of our profession. As much as we need activists, politicians and impact professionals driving change, we also need teachers, artists, engineers, creatives, accountants, healers, coders, spiritual teachers, farmers, doctors, social entrepreneurs and so much more.
In fact, we need each of us. Wherever we are, whatever work we are called to - inner or outer.
