To Live In This World…

Mary Oliver’s poem “In Blackwater Woods” is a meditation on grief, impermanence, and the tender call to love what is mortal.

In this interactive workshop, we will use the poem as a lens to explore the “space between worlds”—those liminal, in-between moments when the familiar falls away and we are invited to step into the unknown. This is a space of endings, beginnings, and transformation.

Through reflection, discussion, and creative exercises, we will uncover the wisdom Mary Oliver offers for meeting these spaces with courage and grace, both in our personal lives and in the larger world we inhabit.
