Reshaping the World Through Dance

How can dance be a catalyst for change? This interactive workshop facilitated by Emily Running (Dance at the Intersection) and Laura Hartley (Scintilla Centre) invites dancers, creatives, changemakers and those who just love to move their body to explore the role dance can play in reshaping our world.

Through guided reflection, discussion, and creative exercises, you will:.

  • Channel your creativity to uncover your most meaningful contribution in this time.

  • Identify skills that you can develop, practice, and share through dance to help seed a more just, vibrant world.

  • Weave dance (or any creative act!) into changemaking, envisioning a community project or discovering how movement can deepen your skills and purpose in your work.

No physical movement required—just your imagination, vision, and passion for dance as a force for social and cultural transformation!
